Few bands have gone through the personnel changes and turmoil that Fleetwood Mac has endured. Recorded after Peter Greene's departure and shortly before Jeremy Spencer left the group, this also marks Christine McVie's debut in the band. The song was written by founder Danny Kirwan, with lyrics taken from a poem by Welsh poet W. H. Davies. Kirwan was kicked out of the band the following year, after having a violent meltdown before a gig.
