The latest Zappa live set to be released is culled from two 1980 shows. The first is from the iconic Mudd Club, purportedly Frank's favorite NYC venue, and the second from Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany.

The 3 CD set offers a contrast in performances -- from a small, intimate setting to a larger arena show.  The setlist covers a lot of ground, ranging from Chunga's Revenge to Apostrophe and Sheik Yerbouti to Joe's Garage.

The band this time around consists of Frank on vocals and guitar, natually, along with Ike Willis and Ray White on vocals and guitar as well. Tommy Mars is on keyboards, with the rhythm section manned by Arthur Barrow on bass (also contributing  keyboards and vocals) and David Logeman on drums.

Don't forget to keep it greasy, so it goes down easy and get your very own copy. The set ships Tuesday, so don't dawdle.
