The Dead Tongues’ Body of Light is the first installment of a double LP release, with I Am a Cloud coming in August. What differentiates the two albums, as songwriter Ryan Gustafson told Flood Magazine, Body of Light is a collection of songs while I Am a Cloud is more conceptual. The two are related, however, resulting in separate yet connected albums. Both promise to be captivating slices of the kind of alt-country/Americana that Gustafson has been serving up for 15 years.
