For months, Pond (which DIY likens to a “sun-baked, psychedelic carnival”) has been teasing us with new videos, but finally the new record is here. Releasing their 10th album on Friday, the boys from Perth have graced us with Stung! after three long years (and on my birthday no less!). The wait was worth it. Brimming with sounds from synth-y psych to 70s funk, Rolling Stone Australia admits, the record sounds like “an obscure psych-pop gem from another era, Stung! is Pond in fine, sprawling form.” Bring it!
