False Heads

False Heads has been busy since we first featured them in 2018 around the time the group released its second EP, Less is Better. In 2020, the band dropped its highly-anticipated full-length debut, It's All There But You're Dreaming, which received much acclaim. Pop Matters hailed it one of the year’s best British rock albums. Clash Magazine raved, “False Heads have really hit the nail on the head with this one.” Line of Best Fit lauded its “reckless riffing, chunky bass hooks and snarling snotty vocals that perfectly convey the contempt in which False Heads hold modern-day life.”

The lads that Iggy Pop once announced were “going places” are back with Sick Moon, and they haven’t mellowed. Like so many bands working out frustrations throughout the pandemic, the songs are (in singer Luke Griffiths’ words) about “rage, isolation, and alienation,” wrapped in humor and garage rock riffs.
