MF Robots
III (Part One)
MF (Music for) Robots makes danceable soul music that has a strong 70s vibe while still sounding contemporary. Founded by Brand New Heavies alums Jan Kincaid and Dawn Joseph, the duo's name is a gentle gibe about the current state of pop music that is relentlessly over-produced and auto-tuned. Their music definitely has the human touch.

The Dandy Warhols
Pin Ups
Reimagining the Cramps' psychobilly classic as psychedelic surf is not something I could ever argue with. With the same title and intent as Bowie's album of covers, and the band reworks some of their favorite from Gang of Four, The Damned, The Clash, and others.

Elephant Stone
Asha
Well isn't this a song for our times? The first single off the upcoming Asha, Elephant Stone's Rishi Dhir examines the current state of affairs with his band playing a fuzzy, driving psych tune that is a response to the mess the world finds itself in at the moment, as Dhir says, " it’s short, it’s angry, and it gets straight to the point.”
FEATURED TRACK: "Everything Evil"
Nubiyan Twist
Chasing Shadows
The UK group's intoxicating blend of afrobeat, hip hop, and jazz has been called "glorious sunshine" (Treblezine) and is a welcome respite from all the insanity going on. Guests like Joe Armon Jones (Ezra Collective) and Bootie Brown (The Pharcyde) join the party and keep it groovin'.
FEATURED TRACK: "Chasing Shadows ft. Fatoumata Diawara"
Holy Fuck
Event Beat
The sixth album from the Canadian collective is a groove-laden electronic journey. Flood Magazine raves it's the group's "most lucid and focused album…pulsating and engrossing." It's hard to argue with that. Event Beat will surely keep the listener engaged.
