There are plenty of reasons to visit the casino capital by the sea, but timing your trip to coincide with Atlantic City’s beer festival is smarter than buying up Park Place and Boardwalk on the Monopoly board.

The Celebration of the Suds hosts 75 brewers the last weekend of March at the Atlantic City Convention Center.  Ambers, goldens and browns, stouts, lagers and pilsners are on tap for the discerning palette. Thousands of connoisseurs attend the party each year, enjoying not only the delectable brews but food, live music, seminars and even cooking demos -- all designed to promote craft beers.  Participating brewers include the likes of regional favorites like New Jersey Brewing Co., Ommegang, Brooklyn, Dogfish Head as well as other national brands like Abita, Magic Hat and many more. 

Local restaurants provide more than mere morsels.  Sausage and peppers, crab cakes and custom pizzas from Tony Boloney’s tempt the taste buds – you can catch Tony’s Mustache Mobile cruising AC’s streets on most days too.

Speaking of men’s facial fashion, you can also check out the Mustache Lounge, which awards prizes for the best featured ‘stache, games and exclusive tastings. 

The celebration offers one session on Friday and two on Saturday, leaving plenty of time to stroll the famous boardwalk or hit the tables.  Designated Driver tickets and special transportation choices in partnership with Aid Me Motor Club are also available.
